2 Months Post-Op: Autologous Rib Cartilage Primary Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

My original nasal shape wasn’t extremely flat at the tip, but it had a slightly droopy,
mild hump appearance with little to no definition between the alar base and the tip when viewed from the front. I wanted to refine this blunted look,
so I began researching rhinoplasty options—looking not only at primary cases but also revision rhinoplasty results,
believing that a surgeon experienced in complex revisions would deliver even better outcomes for a primary procedure.
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery consistently appeared in my research, with before-and-after photos that closely matched the nasal aesthetics I had in mind.
I was particularly drawn to the clinic’s reputation for thorough long-term postoperative care and lifetime follow-up.
In addition to the cosmetic aspects, I also addressed functional concerns during surgery by combining cosmetic rhinoplasty with a septoplasty and turbinate reduction.
Two months post-op, my deviated septum has now aligned properly, and I can clearly feel that my nasal airway is much more open and unobstructed.
Aesthetically, the nasal bridge now has a defined straight-slope profile, exactly as I had hoped.
The overall height and projection suit my face well. People around me have commented that the new nose fits my facial features and image very naturally,
which has boosted my confidence even more.
