9 Months After Revision Rhinoplasty (Medpor Removal & Droopy Tip Correction)
본문

It’s now been over nine months since I had my revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Unbeknownst to me, my previous surgeon had used Medpor in my nose. During the revision surgery,
Dr. Kim discovered it had been placed as a columellar strut and removed it cleanly.
Since then, the corrected droopy tip has remained stable and aesthetically pleasing without recurrence.
Because I have thin skin, Dr. Kim also added fascia—or possibly dermis—over the rib cartilage at the tip to prevent visibility.
Even though the projection was significantly increased,
there’s no obvious translucency, which I’m very happy about.
Both people I’ve known for a while and new acquaintances often compliment my nose,
saying it suits my overall image very naturally.
Some have even asked me where I had it done because they’re considering rhinoplasty themselves.
Although it feels a bit awkward, I proudly tell them I had it done at RU Plastic Surgery.
