Revision Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Rib Cartilage and Silicone – 1-Month Postoperative Review

A few years ago, I underwent rhinoplasty in Busan. Over time,
I started noticing that the tip of my nose seemed to be retracting upwards.
Friends and acquaintances even commented that my nose looked shorter and more upturned,
resembling a "pig nose," which was really upsetting.
The nasal bridge also didn’t reach the projection
I had hoped for—perhaps because my original nose was quite low—but I had always wanted a more prominent and elongated nose.
As the retraction worsened over time, the stress increased.

For this revision, we used autologous rib cartilage for the tip and a silicone implant for the bridge.
Since I have thin skin, a thin layer of Megaderm was also added to prevent implant visibility.
