Corrected Short, Contracted Nose to a Smooth Straight Line After My 3rd Revision Surgery!

It has been one month since I had my third rhinoplasty revision performed by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Since the surgery, I’ve received so many compliments about how natural and pretty my nose looks.
I was referred by a friend who also had her rhinoplasty done at RU, and I honestly feel I made the right decision.
Her results looked great, but I was still worried because my nose was very short and upturned.
I wondered whether it could really be reshaped into a softer and more defined form, even just slightly lowering the tip would have made me happy.
But thankfully, the outcome exceeded my expectations—the line and contour of my nose were beautifully refined.
At this point, one month in, I’ve started applying scar ointment to the incision site where rib cartilage was harvested.
I was told it’s okay to apply after the wound is fully closed, so I used antibiotic ointment for the first month,
and now I’m using a scar care cream from the pharmacy in the morning and evening.
People around me say I look softer and more approachable.
Many don’t even realize it’s a revision surgery—they think it’s just a really well-done nose job.
Since the bridge and glabella area were lowered and the tip was reshaped with a rounded finish,
I think it gives my face a gentler and more natural appearance.
Before surgery, I used to feel self-conscious whenever I put on makeup because the nostrils were too exposed from the front.
Now, makeup has become fun again! I also realized RU is truly experienced in using autologous rib cartilage.
My previous revision—done elsewhere—also used rib cartilage, but the donor site remained sore for more than two weeks.
This time, the pain subsided significantly by day 5. Of course, if you exert too much force with your upper body,
it still feels sore, so I’d recommend leaving ample recovery time when planning your schedule.
