One Month Postoperative Review of Short Nose and Upturned Nose Rhinoplasty
본문

This is a one-month follow-up review after autologous rib cartilage rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery. I had long been concerned about my short nose, upturned tip, and lack of facial dimension. Seeking a solution that would achieve satisfying results in a single surgery without the need for revision, I chose autologous rib cartilage rhinoplasty.
The procedure included lowering the columella, nasal tip augmentation with rib cartilage, silicone implant for the nasal dorsum, and correction of the short nose. During the preoperative consultation, Dr. Hyun Joo Kim meticulously designed the surgery plan, taking even my facial asymmetry into careful consideration.
Now, one month post-surgery, the swelling has significantly subsided and the shape has stabilized. Both the nasal length and overall facial contour have noticeably improved, resulting in a natural appearance from both lateral and frontal views. I am highly satisfied with the outcome.
