One Month Post-Op: Bulbous Nose + Long Nose Correction
본문

After
I decided to get nose surgery because my wide, bulbous nose was always bothering me, especially since I work with video filming — and the camera made my nose look even more prominent. I wanted to fix that for a more balanced look on screen.
I found RU Plastic Surgery after watching a YouTuber’s rhinoplasty vlog and learned they had surgery there. I visited earlier this year, and after consulting with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim, I was confident that RU was the place for me. The consultation was thorough—explaining carefully the benefits, what I might lose, and all the risks.
Post-surgery, I initially felt stuffy because my nose was blocked, but pain wasn’t severe. Once the splint was removed, I started getting compliments that my facial impression looked softer and more refined. I still feel some tightness and pulling around my philtrum (the area between nose and upper lip) when I smile or open my mouth wide, especially noticeable when putting on lipstick. The doctor explained this is due to the nasal base angle correction and should gradually improve over time.
Overall, I’m feeling hopeful and satisfied with the progress so far!
