1-Week Post-Op Review: Revision Rhinoplasty for Short Columella and Upturned Nose
본문

After
My initial concerns were a short, recessed columella and an overall upturned nose. In addition, my previous rhinoplasty from four years ago left my nose visibly crooked, with the nasal tip drooping asymmetrically.
After extensively researching through online platforms and community apps, I found that the only before-and-after cases that consistently matched the aesthetic I was aiming for were those performed by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Before the surgery, I had heard RU Plastic Surgery was known for minimal postoperative bruising and swelling. At the time, I didn’t think much of it—but now, one week post-op, I can confirm it’s true. I have virtually no bruising, and swelling has been very manageable.
The columella has been significantly lengthened, and the overall nasal line feels both stable and aesthetically refined. I'm genuinely satisfied with how things have turned out so far, and I’m looking forward to how the swelling will continue to subside over the coming weeks.
