9-Month Follow-Up: Male Autologous Rib Cartilage Rhinoplasty
본문

Hello, it has already been 9 months since I underwent autologous rib cartilage rhinoplasty, and I would like to share my experience.
Originally, I had a low nasal bridge, a widened nasal tip, and a slightly deviated nose, which made my overall facial features appear unclear and indistinct. I had long wanted to improve these aspects, which ultimately led me to decide on autologous rib cartilage rhinoplasty.
I discovered RU Plastic Surgery through reviews on an app, and after viewing numerous before-and-after photos, I was impressed by the natural and refined results. This encouraged me to schedule a consultation. On the day of the consultation, Dr. Kim Hyun-joo personally examined my nose with great attention to detail and clearly identified the areas that needed improvement.
The procedures I underwent included:
-
Nasal bridge augmentation using a silicone implant,
-
Nasal tip refinement using autologous rib cartilage, and
-
Correction of nasal deviation (crooked nose).
In the initial postoperative period, I experienced swelling and bruising, but the recovery progressed smoothly and pain was minimal, allowing for a quick return to daily activities. Over time, the nasal contour settled naturally, with the nasal tip and bridge becoming more defined, which significantly enhanced the overall clarity of my facial features.
The crookedness was corrected in a natural manner, and now the asymmetry is barely noticeable even from the front. I have received many compliments on my improved appearance, which makes me very satisfied. The results look natural and harmonize well with my face, so I often hear that my nose looks beautiful without obvious signs of surgery.
For anyone considering rhinoplasty, I sincerely recommend Dr. Kim Hyun-joo and RU Plastic Surgery for their expertise and genuine care.
