One-Year Follow-Up on Revision Surgery for Drooping Nasal Tip

It has been one year since I underwent revision surgery for a drooping nasal tip.
After seeing a friend with a nose that looked surgically enhanced and very attractive, I decided to have my revision surgery done by Dr. Kim Hyun-joo at RU Plastic Surgery. Although the clinic is quite far from where I live, and I was advised to come in for long-term follow-ups, I haven’t been able to attend regularly due to my own laziness.
Previously, my nasal tip appeared blunt and droopy, more like a typical male nose. Now, with the autologous rib cartilage graft, the tip feels firmly supported and well-shaped. However, compared to my previous surgeries, the tip does feel somewhat rigid. While it moves well side to side and doesn’t have the appearance of a pig nose, the weighty sensation feels unusual, so I try not to touch it too much. It seems a nose after surgery requires delicate care, almost like handling a baby.
Lately, many people around me have been asking where I had my nose surgery done, just as I once asked around for recommendations. The scar from the rib cartilage harvest is a thin white line, barely noticeable. I still have a silicone implant, but the mesh part was removed, which makes it more comfortable.
I hope to maintain this nose for the rest of my life.
