Revision Rhinoplasty Experience at RU Plastic Surgery Correction of Short Nose and Unwanted Upturned Deformity

After my previous rhinoplasty,
my nose did not match the design I had hoped for,
and over time it developed an unwanted upturned appearance.
Because of this, I decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty.

During the consultation,

which I found very reassuring.

and desired nasal shape.
I visited the clinic three times for consultation,
and each time, I could clearly see that postoperative patients

My surgery involved revision rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage,
along with nostril lowering and nasolabial angle correction.
I clearly expressed that I wanted a fuller nasal tip and columella,
and specifically asked Dr. Kim
to extend the nasal tip with volume and softness rather than sharpness.
I usually experience significant facial swelling after surgery,
but this was the first time I had almost no facial swelling at all.
That alone made me feel that the revision surgery
was performed with great precision and care.
Most of the nasal swelling had already subsided by the second week.
Above all, I am genuinely happy that my nose has truly changed.
My nostrils are far less visible than before,
and I now have the straight, feminine nasal line I wanted,
without excessive height at the radix.
There is still some residual swelling around the nasal root,
but I expect it to continue resolving with time.
I can clearly feel that every detail I requested
was carefully reflected in the final result.
While I will continue to observe my progress,
I truly believe that Dr. Hyunjoo Kim
has outstanding aesthetic judgment and surgical skill.
