Two-Month Postoperative Review After Implant Removal and Autologous Rhinoplasty
본문

It has been two months since I underwent revision rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery
following implant removal, using autologous rib cartilage,
a 3D customized DCF, and rectus fascia.
Until the one-month mark, I experienced some discomfort due to mucosal swelling.
However, as I entered the second month, nasal obstruction has nearly resolved,
the swelling has continued to subside,
and the nasal contours appear more refined and well-defined.
Overall, the nose now looks more natural and aesthetically balanced.
After experiencing complications from a silicone implant placed during my first surgery,
the recovery process was both physically and emotionally difficult.
This time, choosing a non-implant approach has significantly reduced
my concerns regarding potential complications
and has provided a much greater sense of reassurance.
There is still mild discomfort when smiling,
but I understand this is part of the normal healing process
and expect it to improve with time.
I am currently focusing on recovery with a positive mindset
while waiting for the final stabilization of the results.
