Extreme Nasal Reconstruction Surgery — 9-Month Postoperative Review

I previously underwent rhinoplasty at another clinic,
but experienced capsular contracture twice as a complication.
The condition developed as a result of silicone-related issues,
and while searching desperately for a clinic specializing in severe contracture cases,
I came across RU Plastic Surgery.
At RU Plastic Surgery, the implants were removed promptly,
followed by multiple sessions of stem cell therapy,
after which I underwent reconstructive surgery for contracture.
For the revision procedure, autologous costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip,
and diced costal cartilage wrapped in temporalis fascia was used for the nasal bridge.
It has now been nearly nine months since the surgery.
Fortunately, the contracture has been resolved,
and my nose has returned to a stable, functional state.
Given the severity of the previous contracture,
the final shape is not a 100 percent match to my original aesthetic expectations,
but the fact that the contracture has not recurred is something I am extremely grateful for.
In the early postoperative period,
the nose appeared quite bulky due to swelling,
but as the swelling gradually subsided,
this aspect improved significantly as well.
