2-Week Update After Columellar Retraction Revision Rhinoplasty
본문

Before revision surgery,
my columella retraction made my nostrils look longer
and my mouth appear more protruded.
Overall, my nose looked flat, and it constantly bothered me.
I learned about RU Plastic Surgery
while searching through online community reviews
about autologous rib revision rhinoplasty.
The before-and-after photos showed a straight bridge
with a softly rounded tip — exactly the style I wanted.
After the consultation, I decided to proceed there right away.
During my consultation, Dr. Hyunjoo Kim
carefully explained the cause of my columellar retraction
and thoroughly assessed my nasal condition.
Rather than simply increasing the height,
he focused on overall facial balance
and even sketched out how each area would be improved,
which gave me a great sense of trust.
My surgical plan included
revision rhinoplasty, silicone for the bridge,
autologous rib cartilage for the tip,
and nasolabial angle correction.
Throughout recovery, I felt that the postoperative care
at RU Plastic Surgery was very attentive.
At each visit, Dr. Kim carefully checked my swelling and healing progress,
and whenever I had concerns, he explained everything clearly and promptly.
The once-flat nasal tip has improved significantly,
and my columella now sits naturally lower.
Both the front and side profiles look much more defined and dimensional.
I’m truly satisfied with how well the new nasal line
harmonizes with my overall face.
