Nasolabial Angle Adjustment & Short Nose Correction – 3 Months Post-Op
본문

Before surgery,
I frequently experienced nosebleeds and sneezing
due to chronic nasal inflammation and rhinitis,
which made everyday life uncomfortable.
I was also unhappy with the appearance of my nose,
so I decided to undergo rhinoplasty
to improve my low nasal bridge and under-projected nasal tip.
During my consultation at RU Plastic Surgery,
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim designed a nose
that would look natural while still providing a noticeable improvement.
He carefully explained the surgical techniques
using presentation materials,
which gave me a great deal of confidence.
Right up until the day of surgery,
I repeatedly emphasized that I wanted a nose
that looked noticeably higher
but still suited my face
without appearing unnatural.
My surgical plan included
autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,
a silicone implant for the bridge,
nasolabial angle adjustment,
short nose correction,
and two functional nasal procedures.
Now, three months after surgery,
my breathing has improved significantly,
and after going through a seasonal change,
I can clearly feel that my nose is much more comfortable than before.
Since my nose was augmented,
my nasal tip still feels firm,
and I occasionally notice a slight feeling of pressure
or a mild foreign body sensation.
I'm still getting used to it,
but friends who have also had rhinoplasty
have reassured me that these sensations gradually disappear
and eventually the nose feels completely natural.
At my recent follow-up appointment,
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim confirmed
that everything is healing well
with no signs of any problems.
He also carefully explained
the precautions I should continue to follow,
which gave me even more peace of mind throughout my recovery.
