Men’s Short Nose Rhinoplasty – 9 Months Post-Op
본문

Before surgery,
my short and upturned nose
made the center of my face look slightly recessed
and my overall features less defined.
After seeing a great result
from someone I knew,
I became interested in rhinoplasty
and was introduced to Dr. Hyun Joo Kim
at RU Plastic Surgery.
I compared several clinics,
but what stood out to me
was that Dr. Hyun Joo Kim focused
not simply on making the nose higher,
but on creating balance with the entire face.
He also understood exactly what I wanted,
which gave me confidence in choosing the clinic.
Because my nose was short,
I was advised that autologous rib cartilage
would be needed to provide adequate nasal lengthening.
My surgical plan included
autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,
a silicone implant for the bridge,
columella correction,
and short nose correction.
It has now been nine months since surgery,
and almost all of the swelling has resolved.
My nose has settled into the natural straight line
I had hoped for from the beginning,
without looking overly dramatic.
The center of my face looks much more defined,
and my overall appearance feels sharper and more balanced.
As more time passes,
my nose continues to blend even more naturally with my face.
Overall,
I’m very satisfied with the result
and feel that this was a very worthwhile surgery for me.
