Revision Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage – 6 Months Post-Op

Hello!
It has now been six months
since my revision rhinoplasty
with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Most of the swelling has resolved,
and I can really see that Dr. Hyun Joo Kim
incorporated as many of the requests
I discussed during the design consultation as possible.
The areas I wanted to improve
have been corrected in a very natural way,
so I’m very satisfied with the result.
My original nose was naturally very short,
so I knew there would be some limitations.
Even within those limitations,
I feel that Dr. Hyun Joo Kim
was able to address nearly everything I wanted.
Whenever I visit for follow-up appointments,
both Dr. Hyun Joo Kim and the Consultation Manager
are always kind,
and my questions are explained in detail,
which makes me feel reassured.
Because my short nose was lengthened,
the color of my nasal tip still sometimes changes
to a slightly bluish or purplish tone
when there are significant temperature changes.
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim explained
that this should gradually improve within about a year,
so I plan to continue monitoring it
through the coming winter.
Aside from that concern,
I’m very satisfied with the overall result
and how naturally my nose has healed.
