One-Month Follow-Up After Rhinoplasty for a Mature Patient
본문

Before / 1m post-op
It has been about three to four weeks since my rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage.
Compared with the early postoperative period, a significant amount of swelling has subsided,
and the shape of my nose is gradually becoming more natural. I am very satisfied with the progress so far.
The first few days felt somewhat uncomfortable and congested, but now I am able to go about my daily activities without any significant discomfort.
I am especially pleased with how much more refined my nasal bridge and overall facial appearance look compared with before surgery.
People around me have also commented that the result looks natural and suits my face well.
At my recent follow-up appointment, I was told that the healing process is progressing normally.
There is still some residual swelling, so I was advised that my nose will continue to look more natural and refined as the swelling gradually subsides.
For now, I am carefully following the postoperative instructions provided by the clinic and continuing with my recovery.
Fortunately, I have not experienced any significant pain or other problems.
I am also very grateful to Dr. Hyun Joo Kim and the staff at RU Plastic Surgery for always being kind and attentive throughout my treatment and recovery.
