One Month After Revision Rhinoplasty with Autologous Costal Cartilage & Silicone

It has already been about one month since I had my revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
At first, I was a little concerned about the swelling and recovery process because autologous costal cartilage was being used.
However, as time has passed, the swelling has gradually subsided and I can see my overall nasal contour settling into a more natural shape.
These days, I feel more satisfied every time I look in the mirror.
Before my revision surgery, one of my main concerns was my side profile.
During the revision, I also underwent nasolabial angle adjustment, which helped improve the projection and definition of my nasal tip.
As a result, I feel that my entire face now has more dimension and better overall balance.
I especially like how refining the nasal tip has changed my profile.
My lips appear relatively less prominent, and the overall side profile looks softer, more refined, and sophisticated.
People around me have also given me many positive comments.
They often tell me that my nose looks very natural without an obvious “surgical” appearance,
that my overall look has become more refined, and that my entire profile—from my forehead to my lips and chin—looks noticeably more balanced.
Rather than creating an overly dramatic or artificial look,
I feel that the surgery enhanced my features in a way that naturally complements my face, which is exactly what I wanted.
Since I am only one month post-op, I know that my nose has not completely settled yet. Even so, much of the swelling has already subsided,
and I feel that the nasal line continues to look better and more natural over time.
I am looking forward to seeing how it continues to refine as the healing process progresses.
I sincerely appreciate Dr. Hyun Joo Kim for his attentive care throughout the consultation, surgery,
and follow-up process. I am very satisfied that he was able to create the natural yet refined nasal line I had hoped for.
More than just changing my nose, I feel that the surgery has improved the overall balance and harmony of my face,
which makes me even happier that I decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty.
