Three-Month Review After Male Rhinoplasty and Functional Nasal Surgery
본문

Before / 3m post-op
It has been approximately three months since I underwent functional rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage.
Compared with the early postoperative period, a significant amount of swelling has subsided,
and the overall shape of my nose is gradually settling into a more natural appearance.
I am particularly satisfied with the improvement in the bulbous appearance that was previously noticeable from the frontal view.
The nasal tip also initially felt somewhat broad and blunt, but as the swelling has continued to decrease, the tip has gradually become more refined and defined.
I can clearly see that the overall nasal contour is becoming more balanced and natural over time.
In addition to the cosmetic changes, I also feel that breathing has become more comfortable compared with before surgery,
which has contributed significantly to my overall satisfaction with the procedure.
During my most recent postoperative follow-up, both the external shape of my nose and the internal healing process were carefully evaluated.
I was informed that the recovery is progressing well and that the remaining residual swelling is expected to continue subsiding gradually over time.
Although my nose has not yet reached its final stage of healing, I can already notice a significant difference in how natural it looks at the three-month mark.
I am pleased with the progress so far and look forward to seeing how the shape continues to refine as the recovery process advances.
My surgery was performed by Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery,
and I feel that choosing him for both the aesthetic and functional aspects of my nasal surgery was the right decision for me.
So far, I have been very satisfied with both the recovery process and the overall result.
