One-Week Review After Rhinoplasty with a Customized 3D Implant for a Dorsal Hump
본문

Before / 1w post-op
My nose had been deviated due to an injury I sustained when I was younger, and I was also concerned about a noticeable dorsal hump. These issues eventually led me to consider rhinoplasty.
In addition to improving the appearance of my nose, I also wanted to address the discomfort associated with the nasal deviation and rhinitis.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery through an acquaintance who had previously undergone rhinoplasty there.
I was impressed by how natural and satisfying their result looked, which encouraged me to schedule a consultation. During the consultation, I received detailed explanations and clear guidance, which gave me confidence in proceeding with functional rhinoplasty.
My surgery was performed by Dr. Hyunju Kim.
The surgical plan included correction of the deviated nose, dorsal hump correction, nasal tip refinement, and two functional nasal procedures for rhinitis.
Autologous rib cartilage and a customized Innofit silicone implant were used as part of the procedure.
Immediately after surgery, I experienced some swelling and nasal congestion, which made the early recovery period somewhat uncomfortable.
However, because the clinic had explained what to expect during the recovery process in advance, I did not feel overly concerned.
I am still in the early stages of healing, but I can already see that the overall nasal line looks more refined, and the previously deviated appearance seems to have improved considerably.
At one week postoperatively, I am satisfied with the progress so far and am looking forward to seeing the nose become even more natural and refined as the remaining swelling gradually subsides.
