One-Month Review After Columellar Correction and Revision Rhinoplasty for a Short Nose
본문

Before / 1M post-op
I underwent revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Although I am still in the recovery stage, I have experienced less swelling than I initially expected, and I am very pleased that the overall result does not look overly operated or artificial.
Achieving a natural appearance was my highest priority before surgery, and I am especially satisfied with how the nasal tip has been elevated and refined while still blending well with the rest of my facial features.
The improvement in my side profile is one of the aspects I like most. Compared with before surgery, the nasal line now appears much smoother and more balanced.
People around me have also commented that the result looks very natural, which has made me feel even more satisfied with the surgery.
I had also been concerned about the scar at the autologous rib cartilage donor site. During my follow-up, Dr. Kim explained that the healing was progressing well, which was reassuring.
The clinic also provided scar ointment for the donor site, so I have been continuing scar care at home as instructed.
At one month postoperatively, I am very satisfied with the natural appearance of the result and with the improvement in both the nasal tip and side profile.
